LONG AWAITED BLOG UPDATE!!

Hi All!! First of all, I am sorry that I haven't posted in so long!! We are both wonderful, things have just been crazy busy! Where to start....

Well, Mommy started her new job on 8/27 and her head is still spinning!!! I am really enjoying the new role, it is really fast paced but exciting. I just got back from a Client Meeting in Minnesota, and am off to Texas next week for acceptance testing - lots of travelling, hoping this will slow down once the Client goes live.

As far as the all the bad weather we have been having... Our house is just off of a Lake, so with all the torrential rain we have had in the past couple of weeks, the river and Lake flooded, not to mention the mosquitos, who could possibly carry off a small child!! The water has been creeping a little closer every day, I wasn't sure whether to pray that it stopped or to hope that it totally washed the house away!! LOL So, as of Tuesday the water is finally subsiding. It got within 10 ft of our house, but no flooding and we are still standing!! Next house purchase.... ON TOP OF A VERY BIG HILL!!!

Teagan is doing great, she is more and more of a girlie girl every day!! I have no idea where she gets it from because I am so much more relaxed! Example... We were getting dressed on Monday morning and Mommy forgot to put a matching bow in her hair... Well, she didn't! She got very upset and starting yelling at me and pointing "Bow, Bow"!! Very adament that her outfit wasn't complete without it! This is just one example of her wonderful little personality, she is soooo cute I just want to eat her up!! She has also developed a complete distain for bugs! If one even comes anywhere near her, she swats at it and yells "Bug, Bug"!

I have been working hard at trying to develop some curb appeal for the house. So I put my gardening gloves on my, not so green thumbs, and went at it. I put in a new walkway, planted some plants and flowers and laid down some mulch, and the end result.... It's really pretty!! Curb appeal accomplished!

Anyway, this is just a quick update in response to the emails I received about my "slackness" around blog posting!! Sorry everyone, just somewhat crazy right now. I promise I will post pics tomorrow!!
