HAPPY TUESDAY!!

I am so excited that it's Halloween tomorrow!! Teagan has the cutest little Lady Bug costume, so I will definitely post pics on Thursday!

We are great! Teagan is growing in leaps and bounds and her vocab is finally starting to grow as well. She has added 'Stinky', 'It's wet', 'cold', 'light', 'all the facial features', as well as 'belly button' & 'butt'!! She cracks me up, she is so full of energy and such a little prankster!

All she will eat lately is cereal!!?? Hence the pics below are 'dinner' pics!! I love the expressions on her face!!

Teagan's latest thing is climbing & hiding... When it gets a little too quiet, I call her and don't usually get a response, when I go looking for her she is hiding somewhere crazy!! Behind her night stand, in my closet!,under the kitchen table, in the kitchen cupboard or just standing against the wall as though she might just blend in like camouflage!!! We usually spend the next 10 mins just cracking up!! Too funny!!

Teagan just received the cutest pair of Giraffe slippers all the way from our friend Bryane in South Africa!! Thank you Bryane!!

Muriel and Sophie came up to hang out with us and have dinner last night - we had such a blast!! The entertainment value of toddlers is priceless!! Make sure you check out the video posted below - I crack up every time I watch it!!

CONGRATS AUNTY MURIEL!!

Congrats to my BF Muriel on becoming an Aunt! Her brother and sister-in-law just had a precious little girl, Samantha!! Sophie (Muriel's daughter & Teagan's BF, is now a Big Cuz)! Congrats to the whole Collison/Elrod Clan on the birth of your precious niece, grandchild and daughter!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MURIEL!

Yesterday was Muriel's Birthday (one of my best girlfriends) so myself, Nicole (the other best girlfriend) and Muriel, went out for a Birthday dinner to this little Korean restuarant that had the best Mongolian Beef ever! And as Muriel pointed out, what a treat to be able to eat a hot meal with both hands!! We had such a fun night, we had a great dinner, discussed our cruise in January (yes we are all going on a cruise together in January) and did a little shopping! We ended the evening back at Muriel's house with a very yummy Birthday cake and great company! Happy Birthday Muriel!! I just know this year is going to be even better than the last!!

OK! ENOUGH OF THE 90 DEGREE WEATHER!!

It is almost mid October (Fall) and we are still having 90 degree days!! It should be in the low to mid 70's right now, I am so ready for the fall weather, enough of this sticky heat!!

I have been waiting for over a month now and finally received my laptop yesterday! So I am now able to work from home part of the time, which allows a lot more flexibility for Teagan and I!

We spent the morning on Saturday with Nicole, Chuck, Luka and Austin - we went to "Pumpkin Fest" in Libertyville (about 30 mins from my house). It was a lot of fun, they had a "Touch a Truck" display, where the Fire Dept, Police Dept, and Construction dept bring the big trucks and cars and display them for the kids to, basically touch, climb in, sit on, turn the sirens and lights on, and have pictures taken with the vehicles. Luka loved it! Teagan was having a total meltdown and wouldn't even go near any of the cool trucks and cars!! Which is very bizarre since she wants to "drive" my car any chance she gets!! So Needless to say... no pics... We walked around a little, stopped for some ice cream to cool us off, and then headed home. It was 92 degrees out which was hotter than hades, so it wasn't the most comfortable day to be outside.

So funny thing... After Pumpkin Fest we stopped by Nicole's house for a little bit and she gave me a bunch of pics she had taken from Teagan's 1st B-day, her baptism and Christmas!!! LOL! So I have posted a few random pics!!

Mommy had an impromptu night out on Saturday (Thanks to Lynn) so Teagan got to have a sleep over with Lynn and Stacy!

TEAGAN-ONE KENOBI!!

Teagan and I spent the evening with my friend Brian. He made us a yummy dinner and Teagan was introduced to the wacky world of Star Wars!! Brian is a huge Star Wars fan and has copious amounts of Star Wars memorabilia including a wall display of Lightsabers which Teagan was all about! She was running around his apartment in true Jedi style, waving her lightsaber all over the place! It was really funny!!

Holy Moly!! What a Monday! Crazy busy, I need 3 more of me just to get it all done!!

Update around my dreaded Well Pump!!
So.. after the last set of terrible T-storms we had, my crawlspace had flooded (which I shared) and it submerged my well pump again! But lucky for me, or so I thought, it dried out and was working just fine, so a new pump ($1000) wasn't needed!! YAY!

Yeah... not so much! A couple of weeks ago my pump started to make the most horrendous sound when it kicked on, so loud you can't even hear yourself talk and scared the you know what out of Teagan! So I think I was in denial, and just thought it will be fine... Well, it has now gotten to the point, when it kicks on at 3 am, it wakes us both up!! I broke down and called the well company, they sent a guy out who proceeded to tell me that he has no idea how in the blazes the pump is actually still running!! And I need a new one.... CAN I JUST GET A BREAK HERE PLEASE!!! It is endless, unlike my bank account!! So now I have to have a new well pump put in AND moved above ground so when it floods again, and it will, the pump is not damaged! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! Anyone want to buy a really cute lake house in McHenry??? Cheap!!!

Anyway, onto happier things!! My Sister finally got connected at home so she can now email me regularly and read our blog!!! YAY!!! I am posting some really cute pics she sent me!!
